Center of the Universe is proud to present the COTU Christmas Market! Still looking for something unique for that hard to buy for person on your list? Or, are you just looking for a little something for yourself!?! Well don't worry, we have you covered. We will have 13 handcrafted vendors at the brewery for a one day market for all your shopping needs. Admission is free and proceeds will benefit a local charity! There will be live holiday music and delicious beers flowing all day long.
The Carytown Market is a small scale farmers market. It was created to give local farmers, producers of goods, and consumers the opportunity to deal directly with each other, rather than through third parties. The market not only offers visitors a chance to buy locally from area farmers but also to shop at the many unique stores on Cary Street.
It’s the Richmond Craft Mafia’s 13th annual Handmade Holiday craft show! We’re back at Hardywood, with all of our vendors outside under big heated tents. We’re welcoming over 50 of the best crafters, artists, and makers for the city’s favorite holiday shopping event! Half of our vendors will be there on Saturday and Sunday, and half will be there for one day only, so be sure to stop by both days to see lots of amazing new art and gifts.
90 local makers, tinkerers, hobbyists and entrepreneurs will gather at the Science Museum of Virginia for the fourth annual RVA MakerFest. This FREE, family-friendly event features hands-on demonstrations in robotics, science, art, technology, engineering, sustainability, food, music and fashion.
Attendees will be able to engage with makers including robotic teams, blacksmiths, glassblowers, video game programmers, 3D printer technologists, jewelers, screen printers, scientists, puppeteers, artists, craft beer brewers and more. Makers will lead quick hands-on making activities for attendees as well as have HANDMADE GOODS FOR SALE.
Local food trucks and Väsen Brewing Company's craft beer will be available and the museum exhibits will be open to the public.
RVA MakerFest has 3 components:
1 - Celebrate & showcase the awesome talent of RVA makers
2 - Educate attendees about how things are made by watching demonstrations and making items at makers' booths
3 - Connect attendees with makers and makers with makers

It’s time again to celebrate the Holidays! No, not just Fourth of July! But Christmas in July!
Once again, here’s your chance to start your Holiday Shopping much earlier this year during our “Christmas in July Crafters Pop-Up,” July 14th through 16th at 153 Perimeter Drive (between Office Max and Dress Barn). The hours of the event will be Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
This show and sale is bigger than before, which means that you’ll find even MORE unique gift items from MORE local craftspeople and artisans. Photography, paintings, metal works, jewelry, unique homemade food items (jellies, jams, dog treats and more)…ALL handmade and done locally and regionally.
Stop in during this special weekend and you’ll get a jump start on everything for those hard-to-shop-for people on your list! AND, many of these crafters won’t be back at Westchester Commons until after Thanksgiving! Plus, you’ll find items that you won’t see in future shows!
The Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest is a craft beer festival featuring summer seasonal brews from regional craft breweries. This is a great opportunity to try your favorite local and regional breweries spring & summer brews. Adult admission is for those 21 years of age and older. Prior to admission, you must present a valid identification documenting that you are at least 21 years of age.
Included in the price of adult admission you will receive a sampling glass (4.75 oz) and 6 beer sampling tickets. You can use those tickets to purchase beers at the price of 1 ticket per sample. Additional tickets can be purchased for $2 a piece. We encourage you to sample different beers and enjoy all of the tasty libations, but be careful because some of these are much stronger then what you’re used to drinking!

Our goal is not to be the biggest but rather to provide craft beer lovers with an amazing selection of local, regional, and national brew. KGB Winter Fest 3 is presented by Draft Taproom and Three Notch'd Brewing Company. Big beers, big fun! This event has sold out the last two years.
While the focus will be on winter brews, many different styles of beer (and cider) will be available. KGB will be held both inside the IX Event Space and outside in the IX Art Park. A walled beer garden tent, provided by Skyline Tent Company, will hold over 4000 square feet of beer and fun! Unlimited samples from dozens of carefully selected craft beers, many brewed here in Virginia.
Live local music throughout the day including local favorites Erin and the Wildfire and The Judy Chops.
A portion of proceeds support Red Shoe Cville and the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville.

Handmade Holiday is an annual indie craft show in Richmond, Virginia that is filled with 50 of the best local, regional, and national indie artists and crafters we can find. Handmade Holiday, presented by the Richmond Craft Mafia, will be held at the Hardwood Park Craft Brewery and will be a TWO DAY event running from 12pm-7pm on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016, and from 12pm-5pm on Sunday December 4th, 2016.

RVA MakerFest returns to the Science Museum of Virginia on Saturday September 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event features interactive demonstrations in science, art, technology, engineering, sustainability, food, music, crafts, and fashion. Attendees will be able to interact with over 100 makers from the Greater Richmond area to experience S.T.E.A.M. education and entrepreneurism in action. Local food and craft beer will also be available and Museum exhibits will be open to the public.

With more than 70 breweries from across Virginia ready to serve tastings from 1:00pm - 7:30pm, you should plan to stay for the day so you get to taste them all. We have designated driver ticket options, as well as on-site camping, to make sure all guests are able to enjoy their time at the Fest.
We will have an eclectic mix of food trucks on site serving food to fit every palate. Bring a lawn chair and grab a front-row seat for the fantastic line up of bands.The evening will close with Three Sheets to the Wind, America's #1 Tribute Yacht Rock, providing a sampling of 70's and 80's yacht rock favorites.
