Christmas in July

  • Westchester Commons

It’s time again to celebrate the Holidays! No, not just Fourth of July! But Christmas in July!

Once again, here’s your chance to start your Holiday Shopping much earlier this year during our “Christmas in July Crafters Pop-Up,” July 14th through 16th at 153 Perimeter Drive (between Office Max and Dress Barn). The hours of the event will be Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.

This show and sale is bigger than before, which means that you’ll find even MORE unique gift items from MORE local craftspeople and artisans. Photography, paintings, metal works, jewelry, unique homemade food items (jellies, jams, dog treats and more)…ALL handmade and done locally and regionally.

Stop in during this special weekend and you’ll get a jump start on everything for those hard-to-shop-for people on your list! AND, many of these crafters won’t be back at Westchester Commons until after Thanksgiving! Plus, you’ll find items that you won’t see in future shows!

    National Beer Expo

    • Greater Richmond Convention Center

The Capital Ale House National Beer Expo (NBE) is a national destination event celebrating artisan-made American craft beer and the Richmond region’s culinary, brewing and cultural excellence.

Set in the middle of summer during Virginia’s rich harvest season, the NBE reflects the changing landscape of America’s beer industry. This premiere event reflects the continuing drive on the part of America’s craft brewing entrepreneurs to make unique beers that offer extraordinary flavors and complexity and that taste good either on their own or with great food. Thus, the Expo offers a collection of premium events that explore the astounding quality of American craft beer and how those beers pair with a wide range of gourmet, farm-to-table and ethnic cuisines.

The Expo is intended to enlighten, educate and enrich both the palate and the intellect, whether the attendee be a novice craft beer drinker, foodie or a home or aspiring “pro” craft brewer.

    Americana Beer Festival

    • Morven Park

Americana Beer Fest, a craft beer festival founded by Brews for the Brave, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to raising funding for regional veteran organizations on the East Coast through creative events, was started as a means to bring folks together to showcase the connection between the craft beer industry and the arts.

By incorporating the performing, visual and culinary arts, we aim to demonstrate the lovely bond between these facets in an environment offering fun, education and a heckuva memorable experience featuring a Comedy Tent, a Game Zone for Grown Folks, food truck rally, our Craft Soda Garden, a main stage chock full of great music from nationally-touring musicians, and our well-known #BrewU Craft Beer Education Stage.

The festival, with roots on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, benefits a different beneficiary in each market in which it exists. We are excited to partner with Boulder Crest Retreat for Military & Veteran Wellness for June's event which will take place at Leesburg, Virginia's Morven Park.

We hope to see you out there sippin' on some tasty brews for a great cause.
